Symplicit Bootcamp

Lean Strategy Design and Deployment

What is it

Strategy work can be a frustrating, stressful process that doesn’t always lead to actionable results. In fact, most executives never learn to design and execute strategies properly. This workshop will help senior executives understand the key concepts of strategy design and Hoshin Kanri as a process for defining and creating annual objectives and developing people based on those objectives.

Does your organisation struggle with how to best engage the workforce to an aligned direction that ensures business viability?

The challenge of deploying a meaningful business strategy requires a clear framework that can be used to strengthen an organisation by enabling sustained high performance and producing long-term results.

The benefit of this system is that it can help ensure goals are developed in a dynamic, catch-ball process that establishes a constructive dialogue about annual corporate objectives between all levels of management. This engaged dialogue promotes clarity and encourages a purposeful, goal-driven approach to management.

How it works

By utilising core methodologies integral to lean implementation, this two-day bootcamp will help senior executives better understand the key concepts of strategy design and provide you with a rigid set of processes for defining and creating annual objectives that clearly align with your organisation's core purpose to help drive progress and action at every level in the company.

You can expect to unpack and explore approaches to Lean Strategy Design (also referred to as Hoshin Planning) and Hoshin Kanri (also referred to Policy Deployment), as well as gain a better understanding of the relationship between tools like the X Matrix and Lean A3 problem solving.
